Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit

• 18-26 years (Candidates born between 02.01.1998 and 01.01.2006, both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification

• Pass in Plus Two or its equivalent.
• Preferential Qualification: Diploma in Computer Application.

Physical Standards

For Fire and Rescue Officer (Trainee) (Male):

• Height: 165 cm (160 cm for SC/ST).
• Weight: 50 kg (48 kg for SC/ST).
• Chest: 81 cm (76 cm for SC/ST) with a minimum chest expansion of 5 cm.

For Woman Fire & Rescue Officer (Trainee):

• Height: 152 cm (150 cm for SC/ST).

Visual Standards

• Distant Vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right Eye & Left Eye).
• Near Vision: 0.5 Snellen (Right Eye & Left Eye).
• Field of Vision: Full (Right Eye & Left Eye).

Swimming Proficiency Requirements

• For Male Candidates:
• 50m swimming trial within 2 minutes.
• Floating ability: 2 minutes.

• For Female Candidates:
• 50m swimming trial within 2 minutes 15 seconds.
• Floating ability: 2 minutes.

Training Period

• 12 months for both posts.
