✅ Educational Qualification
- For Navik GD: Candidates who have passed Class 12 with Maths and Physics as subjects from any recognized educational board are eligible to apply online for the Vavik GD vacancies.
- For Navik DB: Aspirants who have passed Class 10 from any recognized educational board can apply for Navik DB posts.
✅ Age Criteria
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years.
- Born between 01 Sep 2001 to 31 Aug2005 (both dates inclusive).
- Age Relaxation - 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates.
✅ Application Fee
- The application fee will be paid via online mode of payment. General / Other Backward Classes Category – ₹300/-
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe Category – ₹0/-
✅ Salary
- Candidates would be paid a monthly compensation of Rs. 21700 plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances dependent on the type of duty/place of posting as per the existing norms, according to the official notice of Indian Coast Guard recruitment 2023.
- Promotion opportunities exist up to the position of Pradhan Adhikari, with a salary rate of Rs. 47600 (Pay Level 8) and Dearness Allowance. Promotion to the Officer cadre is contingent on suitability and performance while in service in accordance with applicable rules. Other Advantages. Enrolled Personnel is eligible for insurance coverage (on contribution) of Rs. 50 lakhs.
✅ Indian Coast Guard Medical Standards:
- Medical examination will be conducted by authorized Military Doctors as per medical standards prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry.
- Height: Minimum height is 157 cm. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
- Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age +10 percent acceptable.
- Hearing: Normal.
- Visual Standard: 6/36 (Better Eye) and 6/36 (Worse Eye).
- Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body.
