Food Corporation of India Recruitment 2019 eligibility Criteria 


  • Junior Engineer (Civil): Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering and one year experience in Civil Engineering. Age limit: 28 years.
  • Junior Engineer (Electrical Mechanical): Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Diploma holders should have one year experience. Age limit: 28 years.
  • Steno grade II: Degree, DOEACC ‘O’ Level, 40 words per minute with typing and 80 words per minute in short handling. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Applications and 40 words per minute in typing and 80 hrs short cuts per minute. Age Limit: 25 years.
  • Assistant Grade II (Hindi): Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi, English Knowledge, English translation from Hindi to English as one year experience. Desirable Qualification in Hindi Age limit: 28 years.
  • Typist (Hindi): Graduation or equivalent, Hindi type tipping 30 words per minute, preferably typing in English and Hindi. Age Limit: 25 years.
  • Assistant Grade III (General): Degree in any discipline, Computer Knowledge. Age limit: 27 years.
  • Assistant Grade III (Accounts): Commerce degree, Computer Knowledge. Age limit: 27 years.
  • Assistant Grade III (Technical): Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture / Botany / Zoology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Microbiology / Food Science or Food Science / Food Science & Technology / Agricultural Engineering / Biotechnology with BE / B.Tech. Age limit: 27 years.
  • Assistant Grade III: Degree in any discipline, Computer Knowledge. Age limit: 27 years.

FCI recruitment 2019: Age limit


  • Junior Engineers: The candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit of 28 years
  • Typist: The upper age limit of the candidates should not exceed 25 years.
  • Steno: The upper age limit of the candidates should not cross 25 years of age
  • AG-III: The candidates should not exceed the maximum age limit of 27 years
  • AG-II: The age of the candidate should be less than 28 years
