ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CBEC RECRUITMENT 2017
Qualification:
Launch Mechanic:
- Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
- Five years service on seagoing vessel with one-year independent charge of engine and auxiliary machinery
Sukhani:
- Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
- Seven years service on sea going vessel with 2 years experience in independent handling of mechanized craft fitted with auxiliary sails.
Seaman:
- Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
- Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels with two years in helmsman and seamanship work.
Greaser:
- Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
- Three years experience in sea going mechanized vessels on main and auxiliary machinery maintenance.
- Tenth Standard pass or equivalent
- I.T.I. certificate in Mechanical /Diesel / Mechani /Fitter/ Turner/ Welder /Electrician/ Instrumental/Carpentry.
- 2 years experience in Engineering/Automobile/Ship Repair Organisation
Age limit:
- Launch Mechanic: 18 - 30 years
- Sukhani: 18 - 30 years
- Seaman: 18 - 25 years
- Greaser: 18 - 25 years
- Tradesman: 18 - 25 years
Upper Age limit:
- SC/ST: 05 years
- OBC(Non-Creamy Layer): 03 years
